Role Summary
We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a group of companies in Singapore and Malaysia.The role combines strong financial control with strategic business partnering, supporting senior management and the Board while ensuring full compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Review and advise statutory and management accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.Manage audits, tax filings, and liaison with regulators, auditors, and external advisors.Provide strategic financial analysis, modelling, and insights to support business growth, and investment decisions.Oversee financial aspects of group portfolio , includes managing valuations and advise on structuring.Strengthen internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.Lead and develop the finance team, drive process and system improvements.Key rolesFinancial Management & ReportingStrategic & Business PartneringInvestment SupportRisk, Compliance & GovernanceLeadership & Team ManagementRequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent.8–12 years’ experience in finance, with senior leadership exposure in asset management / real estate management / investment-related businesses.Hands-on experience with local and Malaysian audits, and regulatory filings.Strong commercial mindset with board-level communication skills.High integrity, sound judgement, and ability to operate in a regulated environment.
