At the forefront of the commercial transport transition, this business is building the financial infrastructure to match its scale — and this is a pivotal hire in that journey.This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility finance leadership role where your work directly influences production decisions, contract tenders, and the strategic direction of a fast-scaling manufacturer.The Financial Controller reports directly to the CEO and functionally to the Group CFO. You will own the full financial operations of the entity — bridging detailed manufacturing cost accounting in M1 ERP with consolidated corporate reporting in MYOB, and ensuring leadership has the accurate, real-time data needed to drive growth.The role will also require you to:Manage month-end and year-end close, and prepare consolidated monthly management reports for the CEO and Group CFO.Maintain job costing, Bill of Materials, and inventory valuation within the M1 ERP system.Oversee 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts aligned to manufacturing cycles.Ensure full compliance with AASB standards, GST, FBT, and STP obligations, and manage external audit and corporate tax requirements.Lead annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting, and partner with the CEO on CAPEX evaluations and major contract tenders.Identify cost efficiencies across the supply chain and build real-time margin visibility per vehicle.Qualifications & ExperienceCA or CPA qualified; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.8+ years in finance, with significant experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.High proficiency in M1 ERP (manufacturing modules) and MYOB.Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling and Power Query.Demonstrated ability to reconcile production data with financial statements in a complex operational environment.
