Financial Controller Cape Town Waterfront Our commercial client in Retail is looking for a Financial Controller / Financial Manager to oversee the financial controlling of the finance department reporting to the General Manager. You need completed SAICA OR SAIPA OR CIMA to qualifiy. Its a Hybrid role.Salary Very Negotiable – Hybrid role (1-2 days at home) Early working hours for trafficMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting or financeCompleted SAICA Articles / SAIPA or CIMA2 years plus post-articles/ saipa/ cima experience – negotiableStrong knowledge of SARS complianceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with accounting systems (Pastel, Sage, Xero, etc.)ResponsibilitiesManage creditors, debtors, and 3 accounting staff (Payroll, Debtors and Senior Accountant)Prepare and present monthly financial results per store and consolidated groupAnalyze profitability (sales, costs, labor, overheads)Monitor key cost drivers including labor, and expensesEnsure accurate daily sales reconciliation and cash control processesEnsure SARS compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)Oversee audit readiness and internal controlsDevelop and maintain SOPs for finance and store processesDesign and enhance financial and operational reportingMonitor cash flow and working capital across storesApply online FROGG Recruitment
