This approach positions Grandseal as a trusted partner for clients seeking durable and efficient construction chemical solutions.Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Financial Controller will monitor budgets and forecasts, analyze financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Daily tasks include supervising accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies, coordinating audits, and improving internal controls. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support cost management, cash flow planning, and operational efficiency.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to evaluate performance, support budgeting, and guide decision-making.Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and present accurate financial information.Candidates should possess solid Accounting skills to manage ledgers, reconciliations, and adherence to relevant standards.Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.Experience in a senior finance or controller role, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or construction-related sectors.Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools.Ability to work on-site in Sharjah, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
