Financial Controller

Financial ControllerCamino Search is partnering with a PE-backed business in the healthcare sector to appoint a Financial Controller. The business is growing strongly both organically and through acquisition, with a clear value creation plan. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own the financial control agenda and lead its transformation as the business scales. You'll work closely with a strong FP&A function and build the processes, systems and controls needed to support the next stage of growth.Key responsibilitiesOwn the group's financial control environment and balance sheetDeliver a fast, well-controlled month-end and year-end closeLead statutory accounts and the external auditOwn cash flow forecasting, banking and covenant reportingLead a new ERP implementation and drive automationBuild a robust control framework, including inventory controlsIntegrate acquisitions and support future transaction readinessPartner closely with FP&A to support management and board reportingLead and develop a growing finance teamAbout youQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Strong background in financial control, statutory reporting and audit, ideally within a multi-entity groupExperience of cash management, banking and treasury controlsSystems minded, with a track record of improving processes and reducing manual workHands-on, collaborative and motivated by change and ownershipExperience in distribution, healthcare, field services or stock-heavy environments, or PE, M&A or ERP exposure, would be advantageous
