Finance Manager / Controller SME - Fully Remote Our client is a £15m division of a global group seeking an entry level Financial Controller. Ideal for a Finance Manager looking to step up into an FC role. Would suite straight from practice as well as industry trained. It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant and preferably have experience working within the telecommunications sector. IFRS 15 / 16 would be hugely beneficial. The role can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be working and living in the UK as occasional on-site meetings will be requiredThe Financial Controller role offers remote management and will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations.About the RoleAs Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial management, corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. You’ll lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while also managing audits, financial reporting, and cash flow.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue RecognitionEnsure compliance with local regulations, tax, VAT, and statutory reportingManage cash flow, payroll, and month-end accountsLead financial audits, internal controls, and IFRS complianceConduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planningSupport reporting to the parent company, including quarterly and annual financial reviewsWhat We’re Looking ForQualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in audit and financial controlStrong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting, financial processes, and internal controlsPrevious experience and understanding of accounting for Multi EntitiesProficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, BPC, and SalesforceAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesWhat’s in It for You?Competitive salary and benefitsRemote working flexibilityOpportunity to drive financial strategy in a growing businessIf you’re a proactive finance professional ready to take on a leadership role, we’d love to hear from you
