Financial ControllerInternational Consumer Business | High Growth | Broad Leadership RoleMaidenhead | Hybrid Working£80,000 – £90,000 + Bonus + BenefitsWe Do Group are partnering with a fast-growing international consumer business that has built a highly regarded brand and has ambitious plans for continued growth.They are now hiring a Finance Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead the team and help build the processes, controls and reporting needed as the business continues to scale.This is a genuinely broad role.You’ll own the core financial control and reporting piece, but also get involved in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, process improvement and wider commercial finance.The role will include:Leading and developing the finance teamOwning the month-end and management accounts processGroup reporting and consolidation across multiple international entitiesReviewing balance sheet integrity, accounting judgements and key financial controlsCoordinating year-end reporting and the external auditProducing and managing forward-looking cash flow reportingSupporting budgeting and forecasting across the GroupImproving management information and providing meaningful analysis around business performanceStrengthening processes and controls as the business growsIdentifying opportunities to improve systems, data and automationWorking closely with senior stakeholders across the businessActing as a key support and trusted deputy to the Head of FinanceThis needs someone technically strong who is also comfortable leading people.You’ll need solid experience of group consolidation, financial reporting and cash flow, alongside previous experience managing and developing a finance team.Just as importantly, they want someone with the personality and gravitas to become a go-to person within Finance – someone approachable, confident and able to build trust across the business.You don’t need to have done every part of the role before.They are very open to someone ambitious stepping up, provided you have strong accounting foundations, consolidation experience and people management behind you.
