Financial ControllerAbu Dhabi based roleIndustry - Oil and Gas & Big4Salary - 40,000 Dhms per month plus benefits Job Brief:-The Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity, Group’s financial reporting, leading the monthly and annual close, trial balance and balance sheet review, P&L analysis, consolidation. The Financial Controller owns monthly closing, the chart of accounts, balance sheet integrity, P&L and accruals precision, management reporting and audit delivery across a multi-entity environment.Lead the monthly and annual financial close across all Group entities,ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with the Group closing calendar

• Trial balance and balance sheet review: review the trial balance each period, performbalance sheet reconciliations and period-on-period balance sheet comparison, andinvestigate and resolve variances and unreconciled items
• P&L analysis: analyse results by entity, division and project, explaining revenue, margin andcost movements against prior periods and budget.
• Prepare and review the Group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliation and elimination of intercompany balances, transactions and unrealised profits.
• Statutory reporting: prepare statutory financial statements for all Group entities inaccordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
• Management reporting: prepare management reports including actual vs budget andforecast analysis, KPI reporting and commentary for senior management and the BoardAct as the primary point of contact for external auditors for interim and annualaudits, managing audit planning, audit queries and resolution of auditfindings.Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional qualification required: ACCA or CPA
• Big Four audit experience is mandatory
• 12 to 15+ years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting and controllership,including at least 3 to 5 years in a Financial Controller or senior reporting role
