Financial Controller

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own all controls and reporting across the APAC region of a fast paced and thriving, international consulting firm.This is a highly visible role and a key lead for the region, taking ownership of all accounting, controllership and compliance.We’re looking for a strong leader, someone with strong balance sheet ownership experience and a keen interest in developing a high performing team, processes and controls.Financial Controller – The Role: Oversee all elements of finance and reporting across APACLead, guide, and develop a team spread across the regionPrepare, review and analyse financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRSDeliver the annual statutory accounts for group (in IFRS) and a successful auditManage subsidiary reporting, developing process/quality improvements to the reporting packs.Drive a continuous improvement culture in respect of the control environment and disseminate best practice across the region. Ensure group corporate governance requirements are metAct as a truster partner to SLT across the regionCollaborate with relevant tax, legal and HR teams and external advisors to ensure financial complianceFinancial Controller - Requirements:Must be qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalentMust have experience working for complex, international businessesPreferably experienced in overseeing controls from a regional perspectiveStrong technical accounting knowledge of local GAAP and IFRSExcellent leader, mentor and communicatorFinancial Controller - PackageSalary $140- 180k annually depending on experienceDiscretionary bonusPlus a full and comprehensive benefits package
