The role will combine strategic and commercial leadership with a strong focus on governance, performance and building the capabilities required to support the next stage of the journey.It represents an opportunity to join a business going through a stage of high growth and to have a meaningful influence on its continued growth, development and wider contribution to the Group.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead the UK finance function, providing senior financial leadership and acting as a key partner to both the UK leadership team and the wider Group.Own the full finance agenda, spanning financial reporting, month-end, statutory requirements, audit, cash management, tax and the broader transactional finance environment.Drive planning and performance, leading the finance contribution to budgeting, forecasting and business planning, while providing insight to support informed commercial decision-making.Strengthen governance and controls, ensuring the UK business operates within a robust financial framework and remains aligned with Group standards and expectations.Act as a key link into Group Finance, ensuring effective communication, consistent reporting and appropriate visibility of key financial and commercial matters across the organisation.Lead and develop the finance team, creating the structure, capability and culture needed to support the business through its next stage of growth.Support continued transformation, including ERP development, process improvement and initiatives designed to make the finance function more scalable, efficient and commercially focused.EXPERIENCE REQUIREDQualified accountant (ACA OR ACCA) with at least three years' experience in a senior finance or controller role, specifically within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ownership of a finance function including month-end close, management reporting, forecasting and controlsExperience operating in an export-focused, multi-currency businessStrong understanding of multi-company accounting and consolidationsWorking knowledge of US GAAP and FRS 102Prior experience reporting into a North American parent or working within a matrix/dual-reporting structureERP experience and comfort supporting finance system or process changeThe communication skills and commercial awareness to business partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders and challenge constructively when needed
