Ember Search has been retained on a Global Controller search for a profitable, fast-growing pet health and wellness company backed by a top-tier private equity firm.The business is at ~$100M+ in revenue, profitable, and growing 25-30% annually. It just brought its US and UK operations together under one global platform, and its finance leadership evolved right along with it, from single-country CFO to Global CFO. This is a newly created Global Controller seat, built specifically to own accounting across both entities as the business scales internationally.Location: Remote (U.S.), East Coast requiredThe RoleThe infrastructure here is already strong. You are not building from zero, you are taking ownership of a well-run function across two entities and two accounting standards, and making it sharper.You will:Own cash, bank, and debt management alongside the full month end close for both entitiesStandardize accounting across the US and UK businesses and build a clean consolidated financial statement bridging US GAAP and UK standardsModernize and automate reporting for leadership, lenders, and the boardLead the transition to a new data warehouse, making financial data more accessible across the businessBring technology and AI fluency to continue tightening an already efficient close processPartner cross functionally with commercial and operations leadership across both geographiesBuild out a team over time as the combined accounting function scalesCandidate ProfileCPA or equivalent public accounting foundationExperience in fast-growth, scaling consumer or CPG businessesComfort operating in a private equity backed environmentNetSuite experienceInternational or multi-entity accounting exposure a plusSenior enough to own the function end to end without needing heavy oversightWhy This RoleOpportunities like this are rare: real scale, real profitability, and a live international integration to own, without the chaos of a true zero to one build.
