This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and detailed level.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end accounting operations across GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and closeOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processEnsure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with US GAAPEstablish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close proceduresCoordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditorsLead accounting system implementations, migrations, and automation initiativesReview, mentor, and support accounting team membersCommunicate financial risks and recommendations to senior stakeholdersRequired Qualifications8–10+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience operating as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior Accounting ManagerDeep understanding of US GAAPProven ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closeExperience managing audits and external auditorsAdvanced proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsPreferred QualificationsCPA or equivalent accounting certificationExperience with multi-entity accounting and consolidationsExperience with ERP implementations or finance transformationExposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A collaborationWhy Join MAVIWork remotely with experienced US-based finance leadersTake ownership of high-impact accounting and reporting responsibilitiesGain exposure to ERP transformation, controls, audits, and leadershipJoin a highly curated, invite-only global finance network
