قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجKey Purpose:This is a key role responsible for managing financial crime risk through supporting a controlled, efficient and customer-friendly onboarding process. The purpose of the role is to receive referrals from first line operations and respond to high-risk indicators in the onboarding process. The Financial Crime Analyst role will take control of the onboarding process, gather additional data where required and conduct a detailed assessment of the financial crime risks associated with each case to provide a final assessment as to the risk level posed.Key Accountabilities:• Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of client risks, including detailed analysis of all relevant parties to loan transactions, source & use of funds, and source of wealth information to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.• Undertake enhanced client due diligence processes including requesting, obtaining, and verifying appropriate documentation in line with internal policies and anti-money laundering regulations.• Review onboarding & ongoing monitoring screening notifications related to politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions lists, watchlists, and adverse media reports; escalate potential matches in accordance with established procedures.• Provide clear guidance and support to first line operations staff regarding onboarding and prevention of financial crime queries.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the firm's systems, ensuring data integrity for audits, file reviews, and regulatory inspections.• Assist with audits, file reviews, and regulatory inspections by preparing relevant documentation and responding promptly to information requests.• Assist with procuring, managing, and monitoring software product providers used in the onboarding, monitoring, and financial crime prevention processes.Skills & Competencies:• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail• Ability to exercise judgement confidently• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to identify risks• Process-oriented and excellent logical problem-solving abilityKnowledge & Qualifications:• Previous relevant Financial Crime experience within a Financial Services organisation, with a focus on AML processes• Strong knowledge of Financial Crime regulatory context, best practices, and market norms within the UK regulated lending market. • Excellent practical capability in Excel, and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Quicksight etc.)• Excellent written communication & presentation skillsPersonal Attributes:• Calm and confident• Punctual • Has integrity• Detail oriented• LogicalWhen applying please include your home location and if its London which covers a wide area these days please say which part.We do not need your home address.This is to enable us to check the commute is a viable one for you.Please note.At Alexander Charles we take the protection of your data very seriously and I would draw your attention to our GDPR statement which can be found on our website under the heading “legal”By sending us your details, you will have deemed to have considered and accepted these terms.
