We're partnering with a leading Tranche 1 organisation seeking a Financial Crime Risk Analyst to join its growing Financial Crime Risk function. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established Line 2 team, supporting the management of AML/CTF and broader financial crime risks across the business.The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution of financial crime risk assessments, helping to identify, assess, monitor and report on financial crime risks while supporting also supporting the financial crime intelligence function. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution and maintenance of enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments.Assist in identifying, assessing and monitoring AML/CTF and broader financial crime risks.Work closely with stakeholders across the business to gather information and provide risk management guidance.Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of financial crime risk frameworks, methodologies and policies.Analyse risk data and information to identify themes, emerging risks and areas for control improvement.Support the preparation of risk reporting and management information for key stakeholders.Assist the Financial Crime Intelligence function by supporting intelligence-led reviews, emerging risk analysis and the identification of financial crime trends.Maintain an understanding of relevant AML/CTF obligations, regulatory expectations and industry developments.About YouThis opportunity is well suited to someone with 2+ years' experience in a Line 2 Financial Crime, Compliance or Risk role who is looking to further develop their career within financial crime risk management. You'll have a genuine interest in AML/CTF and broader financial crime risks, enjoy working with data to identify trends and emerging risks, and be comfortable supporting both risk assessment and intelligence-led activities.To be successful, you will have:2+ years' experience within a Line 2 Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk, Consulting or Regulatory environment.Experience supporting or conducting AML/CTF and financial crime risk assessments.A sound understanding of financial crime risk management principles and regulatory obligations.Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.An interest in financial crime intelligence, typologies and emerging risk trends.A curiosity for data and analytics, with the ability to interpret information and derive meaningful insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of business stakeholders.Exposure to data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Splunk or Python would be advantageous but is not essential.Please note that this is a genuine Line 2 Financial Crime role. On this occasion, we won't be considering candidates whose experience is solely within Financial Crime Operations. We're specifically seeking individuals with exposure to financial crime risk, compliance, controls, or risk assessment activities within a Line 2 environment.Ideal locations: Melbourne and Perth, potentially also Sydney
