SANY Group, one of the world's largest construction equipment manufacturers and the global #1 in excavator sales, is launching its multifinance operations in Indonesia. We are looking for a CFO to serve as the top financial executive for this new entity, based in Jakarta.About SANY Group: Founded in 1989, SANY Group is a Fortune Global 500-caliber enterprise with 2025 revenue exceeding 12.5 billion. In September 2025, SANY signed a strategic cooperation agreement worth approximately 200 million with leading Indonesian financial institutions including PT Chandra Sakti Utama Leasing and PT Maybank Indonesia Finance, underscoring our commitment to building a robust financial services platform in the market.The Role: As CFO/VP Finance, you will hold full ownership of the entity's financial operations, reporting directly to SANY Group's Overseas Finance Division at headquarters. You will be responsible for establishing and leading the finance, treasury, risk, and compliance functions from the ground up.Key Responsibilities:Build and oversee the full financial management framework, including budgeting, treasury, accounting, tax planning, and internal controls aligned with SANY Group standards.Serve as the primary liaison with OJK (Indonesia's Financial Services Authority), ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely reporting across all cycles.Design and execute the company's funding strategy — develop and manage relationships with Indonesian banks (BCA, Mandiri, BNI, BRI, etc.), non-bank financial institutions, and Chinese banks with Indonesia operations (ICBC Indonesia, BOC Indonesia, etc.).Establish NPF (Non-Performing Financing) management systems, including risk early warning, asset classification, provisioning, and NPF resolution strategies.Prepare financial statements under PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards) and deliver regular financial reports and business analysis to Group headquarters.Partner with SANY Heavy Industry's Indonesia sales team and dealer network to provide customer financing solutions and credit assessment support.Recruit, structure, and mentor a local finance team, bridging Group-level directives with local execution.What We're Looking For:12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 3 years at CFO / VP Finance / Finance Director level.Industry background in financial leasing, multifinance, auto finance, or commercial banking consumer finance.Strong working knowledge of PSAK or IFRS, and familiarity with OJK regulatory frameworks.Hands-on experience managing NPF/NPL and asset quality in a lending/leasing portfolio.Proven ability to secure and manage banking facilities and funding relationships.Fluent in Mandarin and English (both are working languages); Bahasa Indonesia is a strong plus.Experience working in or with Indonesian / Southeast Asian markets preferred; prior expatriate experience in a Chinese multinational is a strong advantage.Team builder with cross-cultural leadership skills — comfortable navigating between Group headquarters and a local operating environment.What We Offer:Competitive expatriate compensation package including base salary, overseas allowance, housing, children's education support, and home leave flights.A genuine greenfield opportunity — build a multifinance business from zero with the full strategic backing of a global industry leader.Clear career trajectory within SANY's fast-growing overseas finance division, with potential to expand into other regional leadership roles.Comprehensive expatriate support: secure housing, international health insurance, and tax planning assistance.Interested or know someone who might be a fit?
