The business has achieved exceptional growth since launch and continues to scale rapidly as it enters its next phase of development, including further corporate activity, capital raising and a potential future IPO.Reporting to the SVP of Finance, this role will operate as the senior integration point across Internal Reporting, External Reporting and Treasury. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement across technical accounting, financial reporting, governance, audit and treasury-related matters, ensuring financial information is accurate, aligned and decision-useful for the Executive Team and Board.This is a highly visible leadership role within a fast-scaling FinTech environment, offering the opportunity to strengthen financial governance, elevate reporting standards and play a key role in supporting the business through its next stage of growth and future corporate transactions.Key responsibilities:Provide senior leadership across Internal Reporting, External Reporting and Treasury, ensuring clear accountability and alignment across specialist teams.Act as a senior finance partner to the Executive Team, supporting the SVP of Finance in delivering high-quality financial insight and decision support.Oversee the production and review of monthly management accounts, management information and Board reporting, ensuring clarity, consistency and a strong financial narrative.Lead finance workstreams supporting capital raises, acquisitions, due diligence and other strategic corporate transactions.Lead relationships with external auditors and advisers, overseeing statutory reporting, the annual report, technical accounting matters and continuous improvements in audit readiness.Provide strategic oversight and challenge across treasury, capital management and liquidity, working closely with specialist treasury colleagues.Strengthen financial governance, controls and risk management frameworks across the finance function.Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical accounting, reporting and stakeholder matters.Champion finance transformation, automation and continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting processes and controls.Drive improvements in financial reporting quality, documentation, reconciliations and month-end processes within a rapidly scaling environment.We are seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership, group reporting or financial controllership roles. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across technical accounting, external reporting, audit, governance and financial controls, together with exposure to treasury, capital management or funding activities, ideally gained within FinTech, payments, lending, banking or another regulated financial services environment.Experience supporting corporate transactions such as capital raises, acquisitions, fundraising, refinancing, securitisations or IPO preparation would be highly advantageous. You will combine excellent technical accounting expertise with strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, operating confidently at Executive and Board level.
