FINANCE DIRECTOR- UK & GERMANY | HEATHROW AREA | £90K+Sheridan Maine are working with a globally expanding organisation who are seeking an accomplished Finance Director to lead the finance function across their UK and German operations.This is a high-profile leadership role, combining strategic financial leadership with hands-on commercial partnership. You will work closely with the senior leadership teams in both markets, providing insight, challenge and direction to support sustainable growth and strong business performance.With responsibility for two important European markets, you will bring together financial rigour, commercial thinking and strong leadership, ensuring that finance is a true partner to the business.You will have overall responsibility for the financial performance, planning and governance of the UK and German businesses, including:Leading and developing the finance teams across both marketsDriving budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planningProviding clear commercial insight to the UK and German leadership teamsOwning financial reporting, controls, governance and complianceManaging cash flow, working capital and overall financial performanceSupporting strategic decision-making, investment cases and business growthEnsuring consistency and best practice across the two finance operationsPartnering with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risk and improve profitabilityLeading finance transformation and process improvement initiatives where appropriateWorking closely with the US finance function to deliver the wider financial strategyYou will be an experienced Finance Director or senior finance leader with a strong track record of operating in a complex, commercially focused organisation.We are looking for someone who can combine strategic perspective with operational credibility and someone who is comfortable challenging the business, influencing senior stakeholders and getting into the detail when required.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Significant senior finance leadership experienceExperience operating across multiple countriesStrong commercial and strategic acumenExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience leading and developing high-performing finance teamsA strong understanding of financial controls, governance and complianceFluency in English and German (essential)If you’re passionate about this position or are keen to hear more, please click on “apply” as soon as possible.You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
