The Chedi Hegra is designed as a remarkable escape where every detail supports an unforgettable, high-touch guest experience.Role Description The Financial Director is a full-time, on-site role based at The Chedi Hegra in Al ‘Ulá. This role oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and the preparation and review of financial statements for the property. The Financial Director manages financial reporting, ensures compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and provides analytical insights to support strategic decisions and long-term financial planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the finance team, monitoring revenue and cost structures, optimizing financial controls and procedures, and partnering with leadership to align financial performance with the hotel’s luxury service standards and growth objectives.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial documentation.Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.Significant experience in hospitality or luxury hotel finance management, including leadership of finance teams and cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency with financial systems and ERP tools, strong knowledge of internal controls, and familiarity with regional regulatory and tax environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and support a high-performance culture.
