Financial Expert

A Federal Authority is seeking an experienced Financial Expert to support financial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and analysis, contributing to informed decision-making and the achievement of the Authority’s financial and strategic objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare annual and medium-term budgets.Develop financial plans, forecasts, and future projections.Monitor budget execution and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, policies, and procedures.Prepare periodic financial reports, studies, and management analyses.Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures and recommend corrective actions.Provide financial advice and guidance to different departments.Contribute to the development of financial strategies and plans.Review and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Support financial control, audit, risk management, and government procurement activities.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.Proven experience in the financial field, preferably within the government or public sector.Strong experience in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.Knowledge of government financial laws, regulations, policies, accounting, disbursement, and commitment procedures.Proficiency in financial systems, relevant software, and data analysis.Strong understanding of financial control, audit, budget-cycle governance, and financial risk management.Excellent analytical, advisory, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
