Financial Operations Lead

If you're passionate about financial operations, accounting excellence, and building scalable control frameworks, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities• Lead day-to-day general ledger and journal processing, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time.• Execute accounting close activities and deliver complete, substantiated ledger balances for financial reporting.• Own reconciliations across bank, nostro, suspense, and control accounts, ensuring timely resolution of exceptions.• Manage finance-initiated payments, including vendor, payroll, tax, and treasury settlements, within a strong control framework.• Maintain accounting controls, procedures, documentation, and audit trails to support a robust financial control environment.• Build and develop the accounting operations team while implementing automation and AI-enabled reconciliation capabilities.Requirements• 8+ years of experience in accounting operations, general ledger, reconciliations, or finance operations within banking or financial services, including team leadership experience.• Strong expertise in general ledger management, journals, reconciliations, payments controls, and financial close processes.• Proven experience building accounting operations processes and controls within a regulated environment.• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial control requirements within banking or financial services.• Experience with automation, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled reconciliation and exception management solutions.• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.Ready to join us?
