We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with an accounting background to join our Finance team. This role involves daily financial operations, external audit/close coordination, and HR administration. It is ideal for someone who thrives on structured processes, accuracy, and cross-functional coordination in a regulated environment.You will be the day-to-day custodian of our reconciliation and payment processes, the key liaison with our outsourced accounting firm, and a support pillar for a small but growing team's administrative needs.Budget for the role AED 12,000 - 15,000 gross monthly salary, depending on experience and qualifications.Key responsibilities Daily financial operationsPerform daily reconciliation across bank accounts, payment service providers, and internal ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptlyProcess and review outgoing payments (vendor payments, employee reimbursements, payroll-related disbursements) with appropriate approval and documentation trailsMaintain accurate records of transactions to support internal controls and audit readinessFlag anomalies or exceptions in line with the company's escalation procedures Accounting and compliance coordinationAct as the primary point of contact with the outsourced accounting firm for month-end close activities — preparing and reviewing supporting schedules, accruals, and reconciliationsSupport preparation and submission of quarterly regulatory filings, coordinating inputs from Finance and Compliance as neededAssist with annual statutory audit: prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor queries, and track deliverables to completionMaintain organized financial documentation in line with DFSA and internal record-keeping requirements Administration and HR supportPrepare and process employment contracts for new joiners (particularly junior hires) in coordination with HR/People and LegalManage offboarding administration for departing employees (final settlements, clearance checklists, documentation)Issue salary certificates, NOC letters, and other employee documentation upon requestSupport ad hoc administrative tasks for the Finance function as neededQualifications and experienceExperience: 3–5 years in a financial operations, accounting, or finance administration role, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a regulated environmentEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertification: Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) — part-qualified candidates actively pursuing certification will also be consideredStrong working knowledge of reconciliation processes, payment workflows, and month-end close cyclesExperience liaising with external accountants, auditors, or outsourced finance providers is a strong plusHigh attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive financial and employee dataStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines (daily, monthly, quarterly)Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with accounting or reconciliation software is an advantageClear, professional written communication for correspondence with auditors, regulators' documentation needs, and employeesDiscretion and integrity, given exposure to payment processing and employee/financial data Nice to havePrior exposure to DFSA, VARA, or other financial services regulatory frameworksExperience with payment/reconciliation tooling or ERP systemsBasic familiarity with HR administration processesWhat success looks likeDaily reconciliations completed accurately and on time, with exceptions flagged proactivelySmooth, well-documented month-end close cycles with the outsourced accounting firmAudit and quarterly filing deliverables tracked and met without last-minute scramblesNew joiner and leaver administration handled promptly and professionally, with no gaps in documentation
