Industry background doesn't matter, but this isn't a fit for someone coming from a purely transactional accounting role (invoice processing, bookkeeping, AP/AR, etc.).Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/ACCA/CPA is a plus, not required.Job PurposeThis role supports MIS reporting, OPEX budgeting, and the review of statutory financial statements. You'll help the finance team maintain financial control, improve reporting accuracy, and give business units the numbers they need to make decisions.What you'll doSupport the preparation of OPEX budget plans and schedules, working with department heads to collect the information needed for annual budgetsHelp monitor budget implementation and support recalibrations or forecasts as neededPrepare periodic and ad hoc Management Information Reports (MIS) for leadershipMaintain KPI reporting systemsInvestigate variances and prepare financial reviewsAnalyze monthly operational performance and forecast budgetary exceptionsContribute to budgeting and reporting policies, templates, and process improvementsSupport the accuracy of budgeting software and flag technical issues when they come upReview financial statements for accuracy and compliance (training provided if you need it)Collaborate with internal finance stakeholders to keep reporting timely and accurateWhat you needStrong Excel skills, including data analysis and modelingWorking knowledge of MIS tools; Oracle or similar budgeting software is a plusUnderstanding of financial reporting: balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statementsStrong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear written and verbal communication in EnglishA genuine willingness to learn. This matters more than a pure accounting backgroundFinancial statement review experience is a plus, but not mandatory
