Financial Planning Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office)A global natural resources business is looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst into its Group FP&A team in London.

You'll partner with site and corporate stakeholders to support forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis across a portfolio of operating and development assets, while contributing to group-wide reporting and strategic planning activities.

Responsibilities

Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activitiesAnalyse financial and operational performance across multiple business unitsPartner with site finance and operational teams to review forecasts and resultsDeliver monthly management reporting, variance analysis and KPI reportingSupport group planning cycles, consolidations and performance reviewsBuild financial models, scenario analysis and business casesPrepare reporting and presentations for Executive Management and Board stakeholdersContribute to finance transformation, reporting improvements and ad hoc projectsSuccessful Candidate:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedExperience within FP&A, commercial finance or performance reportingStrong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skillsAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain financial modelsExperience with Power BI and reporting systems is advantageousNatural resources, mining or infrastructure industry experience is beneficialStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsCommercially minded with a proactive and analytical approach
