We advance capital against medical receivables for healthcare providers, connect law firms to a network of healthcare practices, and give injured families access to care with no upfront cost.Gain is a privately held, founder-led, technology-driven organization operating in a complex and rapidly growing financial services environment.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on FP&A Analyst to strengthen Gain's financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and strategic decision-making capabilities.This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing company performance, and providing actionable financial insights to senior leadership.A critical requirement for this position is demonstrated experience building and maintaining fully integrated three-statement financial models incorporating the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement, including forward-looking projections and scenario analysis.The ideal candidate will have developed strong financial modeling and analytical skills through experience in FP&A, M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a similarly rigorous financial environment.

Salary paid in USD, quarterly performance bonus.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Modeling & Three-Statement Forecasting· Build, maintain, and continuously improve integrated three-statement financial models, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.· Develop detailed financial projections incorporating revenue, operating expenses, working capital, financing activity, capital deployment, and cash flow.· Ensure financial statements and projections are fully integrated and dynamically linked.· Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate different operating, financing, investment, and growth assumptions.· Develop short- and long-term financial forecasts to support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions.· Analyze historical financial performance and use trends and business drivers to develop forward-looking projections.· Stress-test financial assumptions and identify potential risks, liquidity requirements, and opportunities.Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning· Lead and support the Company's annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.· Partner with department leaders to develop operating budgets, headcount plans, and expense forecasts.· Maintain rolling forecasts and update projections based on actual performance and changing business conditions.· Develop driver-based forecasting methodologies that connect operational activity with financial outcomes.· Evaluate forecast accuracy and continuously improve assumptions and methodologies.· Support long-range financial planning and strategic growth initiatives.Financial Performance & Variance Analysis· Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.· Identify and explain key financial and operational variances.· Develop monthly and quarterly management reporting packages for senior leadership.· Analyze profitability, margins, operating expenses, cash generation, and other key financial metrics.· Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate their potential financial impact.· Develop KPIs and financial dashboards that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance.Strategic Finance & Decision Support· Partner directly with the CFO and senior leadership to support strategic and financial decision-making.· Develop financial analyses and business cases for new initiatives, investments, products, partnerships, and growth opportunities.· Evaluate the financial impact and expected returns of strategic initiatives.· Perform scenario analysis around pricing, growth, funding, operating costs, and capital allocation.· Translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for executive leadership.· Support Board and investor reporting and other executive-level financial presentations as needed.M&A, Investment & Corporate Finance Analysis· Support the evaluation of potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.· Build transaction and valuation models, including scenario and return analyses where appropriate.· Assist with financial due diligence and analysis of potential acquisition targets.· Evaluate transaction economics and potential impact on Gain's financial statements and cash position.· Support post-transaction financial planning and integration analysis when applicable.Cash Flow & Liquidity Planning· Develop and maintain detailed cash flow and liquidity forecasts.· Analyze working capital requirements and cash conversion trends.· Partner with Treasury and Finance leadership to forecast funding needs and capital requirements.· Evaluate the impact of business growth, collections, investments, and financing decisions on liquidity.· Provide forward-looking visibility into cash requirements under multiple business scenarios.Business Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration· Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Operations, Risk, Sales, and other business functions to ensure financial forecasts accurately reflect business activity.· Work closely with Accounting to understand actual results and ensure consistency between historical financial reporting and forward-looking projections.· Partner with business leaders to understand the operational drivers behind financial results.· Provide financial guidance to department leaders during budgeting and forecasting.· Serve as a trusted financial partner capable of challenging assumptions constructively and providing data-driven recommendations.Reporting, Data & Process Improvement· Develop scalable FP&A processes, models, reporting tools, and financial dashboards.· Improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of financial reporting and forecasting.· Identify opportunities to automate recurring financial analysis and reporting.· Ensure financial models and reports are accurate, well documented, auditable, and easy to maintain.· Work with financial and operational systems to improve data integrity and accessibility.Requirements· 5+ years of experience in FP&A, M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or another analytically rigorous finance role.· Demonstrated experience building integrated three-statement financial models from the ground up, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement projections.· Advanced financial modeling skills, including forecasting, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and financial statement analysis.· Strong understanding of accounting principles and the relationships between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.· Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.· Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, profitability, and financial performance drivers.· Experience evaluating investment opportunities, transactions, or strategic business initiatives is strongly preferred.· Background in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, transaction advisory, or sophisticated FP&A is highly desirable.· Advanced Excel skills are essential.· Experience with BI and financial reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms is preferred.· Experience working with large and complex data sets.· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.· Ability to move comfortably between detailed financial modeling and executive-level financial communication.· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.· MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant advanced qualification is a plus.· Experience in financial services, specialty finance, healthcare, legal services, fintech, or another complex financial
