Financial Regulatory Reporting Associate

We’re looking for a Financial Regulatory Reporting Associate with a strong background in financial accounting and U.S. regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, and FR2900,), Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-15, and BE-125)Reconcile reporting data to GL, validation of static data and perform variance analysisEnsure that changes in the reporting instructions and accounting standards made by the regulatory authorities are incorporated within the reports submittedAssist in maintaining and updating procedure documentations related to new and existing regulatory requirements to ensure firm’s complianceKeep track of each assigned tasks and projects, and meet each deadlineCoordinate with multiple stakeholders across organizationSupport management and team members

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with Accounting major is preferred2-3 years of experienceProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExperience in BI tools such as Alteryx or Power Bi is a plusWorking knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial reportingBasic knowledge of financial products (e.g. loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market products, repos etc.)Minimum 3 years of experience in Big 4 or large regional accounting firms (banking or capital market clients), financial accounting, product control or regulatory reporting area, experiences in banking is requiredUS CPA, CFA or equivalent license is a big plusStrong ability to handle multiple tasks
