The ideal candidate should have strong financial reporting experience, preferably gained from a leading audit firm, combined with solid Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) knowledge and professional certification such as CMA.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting dataAssist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packagesReview financial information and accounting treatments to ensure compliance with applicable IFRS/GAAP and company policiesCoordinate with internal stakeholders, Finance teams, and external auditors to address reporting requirements and audit queriesSupport the year-end closing process and ensure timely completion of financial reporting activitiesAnalyze financial results, variances, trends, and key performance indicators and provide meaningful insights to managementAssist in developing financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses where requiredSupport the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting processes, controls, and proceduresIdentify reporting risks and recommend improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reportingPrepare presentations and financial analysis for senior management and relevant stakeholdersStay updated on changes in accounting standards, financial reporting regulations, and best practicesMentor and provide guidance to junior team members when requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field8-12 years of total relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, financial management, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in an audit firm is requiredExperience in Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) is highly preferredStrong experience in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reportingPrevious experience working with external auditors and managing audit requirementsTechnical & Professional SkillsStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principlesStrong financial analysis and problem-solving capabilitiesGood understanding of financial management and valuation conceptsAdvanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial reporting systems/ERPAbility to analyze complex financial data and translate it into clear business insightsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesStrong leadership and team collaboration skillsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field8-12 years of total relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, financial management, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in an audit firm is requiredExperience in Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) is highly preferredStrong experience in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reportingStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principlesAdvanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial reporting systems/ERPAbility to analyze complex financial data and translate it into clear business insightsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong leadership and team collaboration skills
