Financial Research Analyst

Role Description The Financial Research Analyst will support Familias con Futuro ONG by conducting structured financial research on projects, funding sources, and program sustainability. This part-time remote role involves collecting and analyzing financial and economic data, building and maintaining financial models to evaluate program impact and cost-effectiveness, and preparing clear reports, briefings, and dashboards for internal stakeholders and donors. The analyst will collaborate with program and finance teams to interpret findings, identify risks and opportunities, and provide evidence-based recommendations to improve resource allocation. Additional responsibilities may include monitoring key financial indicators, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and contributing to the development of grant proposals and funding strategies.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Financial Research and Finance skills to evaluate projects, funding sources, and program sustainability.Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.Candidates should possess experience in Financial Modeling, including building and maintaining models for scenario analysis, forecasting, and impact assessment.Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for presenting complex financial information to non-specialist audiences in written and verbal formats.Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with BI or statistical tools is an advantage).Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote, part-time environment.Candidates should possess knowledge of nonprofit or social impact finance, or a demonstrated interest in working with mission-driven organizations.Candidates should possess relevant education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
