The advisor is responsible for assessing clients’ financial situations, understanding their goals, and developing comprehensive financial plans that cover areas such as wealth accumulation, risk management, retirement, and legacy planning. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client meetings, analyzing financial data, recommending suitable investment and insurance solutions, and providing ongoing portfolio reviews and adjustments. The role also involves staying updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and product developments, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. Advisors are expected to build long-term client relationships through regular communication, clear reporting, and consistent service quality.QualificationsRelevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, or equivalent local qualifications) and a diploma or degree in Finance, Business, or related fields are beneficial. Other degree majors are also welcomedStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and build trust with diverse clients.Proven ability to work in a regulated environment, with high ethical standards and commitment to compliance and continuous professional development.Prior experience in financial advisory or related financial services roles in Singapore is an advantage.
