Financial Services Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Services Analyst to support financial operations, reporting, and analytical activities within a Technology Financial Portfolio Management organization. This role will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to maintain accurate financial data, support forecasting and budgeting, analyze financial performance, and provide reporting and insights.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and Excel, along with the ability to work with large data sets and communicate financial information clearly.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned financial services and financial operations processes.Gather, validate, analyze, and maintain financial and operational data.Prepare monthly accruals, reconciliations, forecasts, reports, and financial analyses.Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and five-year financial planning.Assist with demand planning and resource planning financial analysis.Support CapEx, OpEx, CWIP tracking, capitalization, and asset retirement activities.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and SOX controls.Review and resolve financial issues by working with internal stakeholders.Develop insights and recommendations from financial and operational data.Support invoice processing and payment tracking.Prepare variance analyses, dashboards, and financial reporting.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as needed.Qualifications2+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial operations, budgeting, reporting, or a related discipline.Experience working with large data sets and performing quantitative analysis.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Understanding of accounting principles, capitalization, depreciation, and asset management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting Technology or IT financial portfolios.CapEx / OpEx financial management.CWIP tracking and capitalization.Asset accounting and asset management.Financial reporting, portfolio management, or financial management systems.Experience supporting audits and SOX controls.
