FinTech Program Executive

Central Bank of Oman is seeking to recruit competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to work as FinTech Program Executive.Overall, Purpose of the Position:To drive the growth of Oman’s FinTech ecosystem by owning the end-to-end operations of the National FinTech Innovation Hub, leading the ideation, incubation, piloting, and scaling of FinTech solutions from early-stage concepts to market-ready MVPs. The role manages the Hub’s programs, partnerships, and daily operations, providing technical, business, regulatory, and market guidance while coordinating key ecosystem stakeholders and ensuring all initiatives align with CBO’s strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and the National FinTech Strategy.Key Duties and Tasks:Operations & Hub Management:❖ Lead the day-to-day operations of the National FinTech Innovation Hub, ensuring smooth facility usage, seamless scheduling, and an exceptional on-site/virtual experience for all participants.❖ Manage the end-to-end onboarding journey for selected fintech startups, corporate partners, and mentors, serving as their primary daily point of contact.❖ The execution of the Hub's wider program portfolio, directly coordinating innovation challenges, hackathons, mentorship matchmaking, masterclasses, and ecosystem roundtables.❖ Maintain an active, high-quality pipeline of fintech startups, innovators, mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners, building structured development pathways for early-stage applicants.❖ Execute daily communications and community management, keeping the Hub's internal and external stakeholders engaged through regular updates, events, and marketing alignment.Startup Incubation, Acceleration & Mentorship:❖ Drive fintech companies through the Idea-to-MVP journey, actively guiding founders across market validation, financial viability, product design, MVP testing, and go-to-market strategies.❖ Provide direct, hands-on business and technical guidance to fintech founders, including refining business models, pricing strategies, financial projections, and investor pitch readiness.❖ Deliver customized, individual intervention plans and technical support to cohort startups, identifying operational roadblocks early and mobilizing resources to resolve them.❖ Implement clear stage gates, assessment criteria, and measurable outputs for startups to track and guarantee their progression through the incubation lifecycle.Ecosystem, Partnerships & Research:❖ Manage and optimize collaboration mechanisms with banks, financial institutions, payment providers, universities, regulators, and international fintech hubs to maximize value for the startups.❖ Conduct continuous research and benchmarking on global fintech trends, accelerator models, and ecosystem practices, translating insights into immediate operational improvements for the Hub.❖ Maintain advanced knowledge of emerging financial technologies (e.g., Open Banking, DeFi, AI, RegTech, SupTech) to effectively evaluate incoming applications.❖ Execute the screening and assessment of fintech proposals on feasibility, scalability, regulatory alignment, and core risks.Risk, Compliance & KPI Governance:❖ Enforce regulatory and compliance alignment during startup evaluations, ensuring basic adherence to AML/CFT, KYC, data protection, cybersecurity, and operational risk standards.❖ Manage the Hub's performance measurement framework, tracking strategic, operational, startup-specific, and partnership KPIs using dashboards.❖ Monitor active cohort progress via structured startup checkpoints, milestone tracking, and risk/issue/dependency logs.❖ Produce data-driven management reports, presentations, and outcome summaries highlighting Hub performance, startup growth, and ecosystem impact. Execute any other operational duties required to guarantee the strategic success of the National FinTech Innovation Hub.Minimum Qualifications Desirable Qualifications:❖ Bachelor's degree in FinTech, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field.❖ Master's degree in a relevant discipline, or advanced professional certifications in FinTech, Venture Building, or Financial Regulation.❖5–10 years of professional experience, including a proven track record directly within FinTech ecosystems, digital transformation, startup acceleration, venture building, or financial services innovation and experience managing an innovation lab, hub, or accelerator program is a strong plusPlease Submit your application before 28th September 2026.
