قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Purpose:Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm and fire protection systems on-site, ensuring systems meet project requirements and are handed over in good working order. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and perform installation activities for fire systems according to approved drawings, method statements, and project scope.Ensure proper work execution for: Fire alarm systems (conventional + addressable) Fire detection devices (smoke/heat/beam as per scope) Control panels, power supplies, batteries, sounders, strobes, interfaces (as applicable)Carry out system testing and commissioning, including: Point-to-point verification, Loop/zone testing (as applicable), Functional tests of alarms, indicators, and monitored points, Verification and recording of results (test sheets/checklists)Perform preventive and corrective maintenance: Diagnose faults (open/short, wiring issues, panel faults, device failures), Replace/repair defective components and restore system functionalityManage technical coordination on-site with: Client representatives, consultants, main contractor, and MEP teamsSupport documentation and handover, including: As-built updates (if applicable), O&M manuals collection, Commissioning reports, test records, and closeout documentationEnsure safety compliance and safe work practices at all times (LOTO, permits, site HSE rules).Provide technical support for scheduled shutdowns / re-tests after corrective works.Report progress, issues, and risks to Project/Operations Manager.Required Qualifications / Experience:Diploma /Bachelor’s in Electrical / Mechanical / Fire Protection or related field (or equivalent practical experience).Proven experience (years to be specified) in fire alarm installation & commissioning and field troubleshooting.Experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.Strong ability to read shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and testing checklists. Technical Skills:Knowledge of fire alarm system components and field installation standards/practices.Basic understanding of system interfaces (monitoring/control points) as per project scope.Familiarity with testing tools and measurement practices (multimeter, insulation/wiring checks as required).Proficiency in documenting test results and maintaining accurate records.
