MEP services span capacitor bank installation and maintenance, generators, LV electrical work, pump and motor repairs, and emission testing, offering comprehensive technical support to a wide range of clients.Role Description The Fire Fighting Technician / Fire Pump Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The role involves installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire fighting systems, fire pumps, and related equipment in line with local authority and company standards. Daily tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, carrying out repairs or replacements, and ensuring all systems operate safely and effectively. The technician will document work performed, prepare service reports, and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients to schedule work and address technical concerns. The role also requires adherence to safety procedures, participation in site visits, and support during system upgrades and commissioning activities.QualificationsStrong knowledge of Fire Safety and Life Safety principles, including applicable standards and regulations.Hands-on experience with Fire Extinguisher servicing and Fire Suppression Systems, including inspection, testing, and maintenance.Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues through effective Troubleshooting of fire fighting and fire pump systems.Previous experience working as a fire fighting technician, fire pump technician, or in a similar fire protection role.Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or fire protection engineering (or equivalent practical experience).Familiarity with Dubai Civil Defense requirements and local authority approval processes is an advantage.Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and system schematics.Good communication skills, ability to work safely on-site, and willingness to work in field conditions and respond to urgent calls.Report writing skills.
