The organization focuses on quality, reliability, and technical innovation, offering opportunities for engineering professionals to work on complex, safety-critical systems.Role Description The Fire Protection Design Engineer will design and develop fire protection and life safety systems for industrial projects in KSA specifically Saudi Energy Substation from 110KV to 380KV. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing fire protection design drawings and calculations, selecting and sizing fire suppression systems, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, review architectural and mechanical designs for fire safety integration, and produce technical documentation, specifications, and reports. Daily activities also involve performing risk assessments, supporting site inspections, responding to technical queries, and contributing to design reviews and approvals.QualificationsStrong foundation in Fire Protection Engineering and Safety Engineering, with practical experience in system design and code compliance.Demonstrated expertise in Fire Safety and Life Safety, including hazard analysis, egress planning, and regulatory standards.Hands-on experience with Fire Suppression Systems, such as sprinklers, clean agent systems, hydrant networks, and detection and alarm systems.Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.Familiarity with international and local fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC, HCIS, local civil defense requirements).Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and basic hydraulic calculation software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to collaborate with diverse engineering and construction teams and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.Previous experience in industrial or commercial building projects in the region is an advantage.Strong knowledge of SEC requirements and specificationsPortfolio of completed projects and strong references are requiredSaudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is requiredGood communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)Ensure full compliance with SEC standards (TES / SES / PTS), NFPA codes and Saudi Building Code (SBC 801)
