It operates under the framework set by Federal Law No. 37 of 2006 and its executive regulations, working closely with the Private Security Firms Regulatory Department. NSI was created to support the country’s strategy of professionalizing the private security sector and aligning it with international best practices. The institute delivers approved training curricula designed to enhance the capabilities of security personnel and support police and security agencies in protecting society. NSI offers a structured, standards-driven environment for instructors who contribute directly to national safety and stability.Role Description The First Aid Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. The instructor delivers first aid training courses to private security personnel and other learners, following approved curricula and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, conducting classroom and practical sessions, demonstrating and supervising first aid techniques, and assessing participant performance through tests and evaluations. The role involves maintaining accurate training records, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, and updating course content in line with current best practices and local regulations. The instructor collaborates with other trainers and NSI leadership to continually improve training quality and support the institute’s mission.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong First Aid and First Aid Training skills, with up-to-date certifications from recognized bodies.Candidates should possess Training and Teaching skills, including the ability to design lessons, deliver instruction, and assess learner progress.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse groups.Candidates should possess knowledge of health, safety, and emergency response protocols relevant to security environments.Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in healthcare, emergency medical services, or a related field are beneficial.Experience delivering training in a security, military, healthcare, or vocational training setting is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adhere to UAE regulatory and institutional standards.Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills (such as Arabic) are considered an asset.Job description· Ensure that all the models and tools for first aid are available on time before starting the course.· Explain the training material for first aid to trainees in an innovative and creative manner.· Manage chapters and work to solve the issues of trainees and their concerns.· Manage and implement procedures and processes in all aspects of first aid training.· Provide a written report as evidence on any issues concerning the trainees.· Attend a weekly meeting with the Head of Training to discuss issues that have arisen over the course of the week.· Coordinating with the branches of the Institute regarding the operations of the department.· Provide first aid to the injured at the Institute if necessary.· Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the direct supervisor.
