Results First Aid values high-quality instruction that helps workplaces remain safe and prepared for emergencies.Role Description The First Aid Trainer role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of on-site training at client workplaces and some work from home for preparation and administration. Day-to-day tasks include delivering accredited first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis training sessions, demonstrating practical first aid techniques, and guiding participants through assessments. The trainer prepares training materials, maintains up-to-date knowledge of first aid guidelines and relevant standards, and ensures accurate documentation of course attendance and outcomes. The role also involves communicating with clients to confirm training logistics, adapting content to different learner groups, and providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging training environment.Qualifications Relevant training and assessment credentials (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent) and current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications.Experience delivering face-to-face training, with strong presentation, group facilitation, and learner engagement skills.Ability to explain first aid concepts clearly, demonstrate techniques safely, and adjust teaching styles to suit varied learning needs.Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions, manage travel within Melbourne, and complete required reporting and paperwork.Professional communication skills for interacting with clients and participants, including the ability to provide constructive feedback and maintain a respectful, inclusive environment.Comfort with basic digital tools for scheduling, record-keeping, online learning resources, and remote work tasks.Valid driver’s license and reliable transport for visiting multiple client sites in the Melbourne area.Prior experience in healthcare, emergency services, education, or occupational health and safety is highly regarded.
