The company emphasizes quality production, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and long-term growth, while building strong relationships with customers, farmers, suppliers, commercial partners, and organizations in agriculture and export development.Role Description The Fish Farm Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Warri, responsible for overseeing daily aquaculture operations at Jeay Farms. This role includes managing catfish ponds and grow-out systems, supervising stocking, feeding, health monitoring, and harvesting activities to meet production targets. The Fish Farm Manager will plan and implement farm work schedules, coordinate staff, ensure safety and hygiene standards, and maintain accurate records of stock, feed usage, and harvests. The role also involves monitoring water quality, coordinating with suppliers and service providers, supporting farm maintenance and irrigation-related tasks, and contributing to continuous improvement in productivity, biosecurity, and resource use. The Fish Farm Manager will work closely with farm leadership to support sustainable growth, cost control, and alignment with local and export market requirements.Qualifications Strong skills in Farm Management and Farms operations, including planning, supervision, and record-keeping.Knowledge of Agriculture and aquaculture practices, particularly fish farming and sustainable production systems.Experience with Irrigation and basic water management as they relate to pond systems and farm infrastructure.Background in Poultry or other livestock production is an advantage, demonstrating versatility in farm animal management.Prior experience managing or supervising a fish farm or similar aquaculture facility is highly beneficial.Ability to lead and train farm staff, enforce biosecurity and safety standards, and solve operational problems proactively.Comfort with using basic digital tools (spreadsheets, farm management apps) for reporting and inventory tracking.Relevant diploma or degree in Agriculture, Aquaculture, Animal Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with local stakeholders, suppliers, and partners.
