Fit-Out Site Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Fit-Out Site Project Manager to manage and oversee fit-out projects from commencement through to successful completion and handover.The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the approved scope and budget, and to the required quality standards.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fit-out works, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve site issues.RequirementsProject Management & Site ExecutionTake overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and execution of assigned fit-out projectsPrepare and maintain project schedules, ensuring all activities are completed according to the agreed timelinePlan and coordinate site activities, manpower, materials, subcontractors, and resourcesMonitor project progress against the approved program and take immediate corrective action where delays are identifiedEnsure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirementsConduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship and qualityEnsure proper coordination between civil, architectural, MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and other specialist worksInternal Team CoordinationAct as the main point of coordination between the site team and the company's internal departmentsLiaise closely with the design, procurement, sales, commercial, accounts, and management teams to ensure smooth project executionCommunicate project requirements, site progress, delays, material requirements, and outstanding issues to the relevant internal teamsEnsure that information and decisions required by the site team are communicated promptlyCoordinate with the internal procurement team to ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered as per the project scheduleSubcontractor & Supplier ManagementCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist contractorsEnsure subcontractors follow the approved schedule, drawings, specifications, and quality requirementsMonitor manpower and productivity on siteIdentify delays or performance issues and implement corrective measuresCoordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when requiredProject Schedule & Timely DeliveryDevelop and continuously update project schedules and work programsIdentify critical activities and ensure they are closely monitoredMaintain a clear list of pending activities, material requirements, approvals, inspections, and client decisionsEscalate potential delays immediately to managementEnsure the project is completed within the committed handover datePrepare recovery plans whenever the project falls behind scheduleQuality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and applicable regulationsCoordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and approvals as requiredEnsure site activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company and project HSE requirementsIdentify defects and ensure rectification is completed before handoverClient & Consultant CoordinationAttend site meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholdersMaintain professional communication with clients and consultantsAddress site-related queries and coordinate timely responsesTrack consultant comments, inspections, approvals, and outstanding itemsMaintain proper records of project correspondence and site instructionsHandover & Project ClosurePrepare and manage the project snagging and de-snagging processCoordinate final inspections and completion activitiesEnsure all outstanding works are completed before handoverCoordinate testing and commissioning of relevant systemsEnsure required as-built drawings, warranties, manuals, certificates, and other handover documents are collected and submittedComplete the project handover within the agreed timelineBenefitsBachelor's degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field3-7 years of experience in fit-out project management, preferably within the UAEStrong knowledge of commercial, retail, hospitality, or healthcare fit-out projectsGood understanding of architectural and MEP coordinationAbility to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and BOQsStrong knowledge of project scheduling and site executionExcellent coordination and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple subcontractors and activities simultaneouslyProficiency in MS Office and project scheduling toolsUAE driving license is preferred
