Location: UAE (Al Ain / On-site & Field Projects across the UAE)Employment Type: Full-timeMonthly Salary: 2500-3500 Dirhams/month​Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Gym Equipment Technician to manage the assembly, electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential fitness equipment across the UAE.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing top global fitness brands, diagnosing complex cardio electrical circuits, replacing mechanical and electronic spare parts, and executing gym flooring and rubber mat installations.​Key Responsibilities​Equipment Assembly & Brand Installation​Assemble, calibrate, and install diverse commercial and residential strength equipment (multi-gyms, cable cross machines, plate-loaded units, functional rigs, smith machines).​Install and configure commercial cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, curved runners, stair climbers, rowing machines, and indoor bikes) following manufacturer specifications.​Handle multi-brand assembly standards across leading global gym equipment manufacturers.​Cardio Electronics & Circuit Diagnostics​Troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical and electronic components of motorized cardio units.​Diagnose faults in motor control boards (MCB), inverter drives, lower/upper control boards, power supplies, console displays, and optical speed sensors.​Solder, re-wire, and replace damaged wiring harnesses, safety switches, and electronic circuit boards.​Mechanical Maintenance & Spare Parts Replacement​Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective field repairs.​Replace worn parts: treadmill running decks, drive belts, running belts, elevation motors, cables, pulleys, guide rods, bearings, and hydraulic shocks.​Conduct belt alignment, tension calibration, deck lubrication, and motor current draw testing.​Gym Flooring & Turf Installation​Lay, measure, cut, and install high-density rubber gym flooring tiles, rubber rolls, and underlayment shock pads.​Install functional sled turf, adhesive bonding, edging ramps, and transition trims for residential home gyms and commercial fitness facilities.​Key Requirements & Qualifications​Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a fitness equipment technician, gym service engineer, or electro-mechanical technician.​Electrical Competence: Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, AC/DC motors, circuit boards, multimeters, and electrical safety standards.​Brand Familiarity: Proven background working with international commercial gym equipment brands.​Flooring Skills: Practical experience in cutting, laying, and securing gym rubber mats, interlocking tiles, and indoor turf.​Problem Solving: Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical schematics, and exploded assembly manuals.​Driver’s License: Valid UAE Driving License is strongly preferred.​How to ApplySend your updated CV to cs@1rm.ae or contact via WhatsApp at +971 56 566 4886 with the subject line: "Application: Gym Equipment Technician - [Your Name]".
