The resort offers a wide range of leisure, wellness, and children’s facilities, complemented by a diverse selection of award-winning dining experiences.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Professional to join J Club in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.To provide expert guidance and support in fitness and wellness activities. Design and deliver personalized fitness programs, conducting group exercise classes, and offering one-on-one training sessions to meet the diverse needs and goals. Ensure the safe and effective use of fitness equipment, maintaining a clean and organized fitness area, and promoting a healthy lifestyle through education and motivation.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Design and implement personalized fitness programs tailored to the needs and goals, including workout routines, fitness assessments, and progress tracking.Conduct and lead group fitness classes, such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, or strength training, ensuring that sessions are engaging, effective, and suitable for various fitness levels.Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, offering expert guidance, motivation, and support to help achieve fitness goals and improve overall well-being.Ensure the fitness equipment is in good working condition, properly maintained, and cleaned regularly. Report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate maintenance team.Enforce safety protocols and guidelines for the use of fitness equipment and facilities, ensure usage of equipment is done correctly and guests aware of safety procedures to prevent injuries.Offer excellent service by engaging, addressing fitness needs, answering questions, and providing advice on health and wellness topics.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.3–5 years of experience working as a fitness professional, personal trainer, or in a related role within a gym, health club, or hotel environment.Minimum 1 year of experience in a guest-facing role within luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts, or upscale leisure environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.About the benefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
