Fitout Site Engineer

Job Summary:The Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site interior fit-out activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating with consultants and clients, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and UAE regulations. Supervise and execute daily site activities for interior fit-out projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office developments. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. Review architectural, joinery, MEP, and shop drawings to ensure proper execution and resolve technical issues. Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor labour productivity and optimize resource allocation. Attend project coordination meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Verify site measurements and prepare material requisitions when required. Manage snagging, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities. Coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals. Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and implement corrective actions. RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 4–8 years of experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE/GCC. Proven experience in high-end commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, and office fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods, materials, and finishing works. Ability to interpret architectural, structural, joinery, and MEP drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage. Familiarity with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and HSE standards. BenefitsAs per industry standards
