Our teams collaborate across Fleet Management, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to maintain safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation assets.The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Fleet Maintenance Specialist to support vehicle maintenance planning, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and fleet reliability initiatives.The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with workshops, suppliers, technicians, and fleet operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for fleet vehicles.Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance schedules and service records.Monitor mileage, operating hours, service intervals, and maintenance requirements.Coordinate routine servicing, inspections, repairs, and technical checks.Track vehicle breakdowns and maintenance-related issues.Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.Coordinate with internal technicians and external workshops.Monitor workshop repair progress and vehicle turnaround times.Verify completed maintenance work and service documentation.Support fleet inspections and roadworthiness checks.Monitor vehicle availability and maintenance-related downtime.Maintain records of repairs, parts replacements, inspections, and service history.Assist with maintenance cost tracking and budget monitoring.Coordinate procurement of spare parts, tires, lubricants, and maintenance supplies.Monitor spare-parts availability and usage.Support supplier and workshop performance evaluations.Obtain and compare maintenance quotations when required.Assist with service-contract and warranty administration.Identify recurring vehicle issues and recommend corrective actions.Support root-cause analysis of repeated breakdowns.Monitor fleet maintenance KPIs and prepare regular reports.Ensure maintenance activities follow established procedures and safety standards.Support compliance with applicable vehicle and maintenance regulations.Maintain organized technical and maintenance documentation.Coordinate with Fleet and Operations teams to minimize service disruptions.Assist with vehicle lifecycle and replacement planning.Support the implementation of fleet-management and maintenance systems.Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.Perform other fleet maintenance and operational duties as assigned.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fleet Management, Transport Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, automotive maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related environment.Good understanding of preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance.Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic vehicle systems.Experience coordinating workshops, technicians, suppliers, or service providers.Familiarity with CMMS, ERP, fleet-management, or maintenance-tracking systems.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to monitor maintenance schedules, costs, and performance indicators.Strong attention to detail.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.Relevant automotive or maintenance certifications are welcome but not required.What We Offer🌍 Fully Remote Work Arrangement💼 Full-Time Fleet Maintenance Position📈 Career Growth & Professional Development🚛 Exposure to Fleet & Transportation Operations🔧 Vehicle Maintenance & Asset Reliability Experience🤝 International & Collaborative Working Environment🕒 Flexible Working Environment🚀 Opportunity to Improve Fleet Reliability & Efficiency🌐 International Supplier, Workshop & Operations Exposure
