FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER

𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐑 — 𝐏𝐇𝐔𝐊𝐄𝐓, 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 (𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃)Faraway Yachting is a luxury yacht charter company based in Phuket, Thailand. We operate a fleet of six crewed sailing and power catamarans. We are looking for a marine engineer to come ashore and take care of the whole fleet.𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤- Keep six catamarans running and in charter condition- Hands on repairs: engines, sail drives, electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing- Inspect the boats regularly and catch problems before the guests do- Coordinate with the shipyards and contractors here in Phuket- Work with the crews on daily checks𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫- Marine engineering training, both mechanical and electrical- You can diagnose and fix, not only report- Good English- Willing to relocate to Phuket long term- Yacht or small craft experience is a plus, but a strong ship engineer who wants to learn yacht systems is very welcome𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫- THB 50,000 per month during a three month probation- THB 50,000 to 70,000 after probation, depending on what you can handle on your own. We review this every month, not once a year- One paid return flight home per year after twelve months- Work permit and visa arranged and paid by us- Help finding accommodation in Phuket. Rent is paid by you- A long term position. We want someone who stays and grows with the fleetThis is a shore job.
