About the CompanyStrategic Logistics Company is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee daily fleet operations and help support the continued growth of our asset-based transportation network.About the RoleWe are looking for someone who brings more than dispatch experience. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with a growth mindset, takes ownership of challenges, communicates effectively with drivers, and is constantly looking for ways to improve fleet performance and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day fleet and driver operationsCoordinate driver schedules, dispatch, and equipment availabilityMaximize truck and trailer utilization while reducing downtime and empty milesBuild and maintain strong relationships with company drivers and owner-operatorsProactively resolve service, driver, and operational issuesMonitor driver performance and service expectationsWork closely with sales and operations to align available capacity with customer needsIdentify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency, processes, and profitabilityHelp support the continued growth and development of our fleetQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in fleet management, dispatch, or trucking operations requiredStrong understanding of trucking and fleet operationsProven ability to manage and communicate effectively with driversStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced transportation environmentHighly organized with strong attention to detailProactive, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of problemsGrowth-oriented mindset with a desire to improve and develop operationsRequired SkillsWe're looking for someone who doesn't just manage what's happening today, but actively looks for ways to make the operation stronger tomorrow.Preferred SkillsIf you're an experienced transportation professional who enjoys solving problems, developing drivers, improving operations, and helping grow a fleet, we'd like to hear from you.
