Fleet Manager – Heavy EquipmentWe have an immediate opportunity for a Fleet Manager for the San Bernadino County. This individual will oversee vehicle & heavy equipment acquisition and maintenance. The ideal candidate must have proven management and organizational skills.Duties and Responsibilities:Previous experience as a Fleet Supervisor or Manager overseeing vehicle and heavy equipment acquisition in the utility or construction industryAbility to manage tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment logistics for the department, including procurement, maintenance, and transportationCoordinate equipment mobilization/demobilization and maintain utilization of equipmentAbility to develop an annual overhead and equipment budgetDevelop and maintain relationships with outside vendors and interval customersEnsure compliance with DOT regulationsEducation and Experience:Excellent organizational and management skills requiredMust have computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite softwareStrong negotiation skills are required5 plus years of experience working in the utility/construction fleet-related business requiredMust have High School Diploma or equivalentClean driving recordExcellent Benefit Package(Fleet Supervisor, Maintenance, Utilities, Vehicles, Maintenance, Budget, Heavy Equipment, DOT)
