Job TitleFleet Manager – FMCG & LogisticsJob DescriptionA leading UAE-based food manufacturing and grain processing organization is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations across Ajman, Fujairah, and Sharjah.This role is responsible for managing vehicles, drivers, route optimization, cost control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and monitor transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely product deliveryOversee daily fleet operations including trucks, vans, and logistics vehiclesOptimize routing to minimize fuel consumption and transit timeDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedulesEnsure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards (licenses, permits, inspections)Enforce safety protocols and investigate incidentsManage fleet-related expenses including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and depreciationIdentify and implement cost-saving initiativesHire, train, and manage drivers; monitor performance and provide feedbackEnsure RTA compliance and maintain accurate fleet recordsPrepare performance and cost reports for senior managementImplement fleet management software and GPS tracking systemsStay updated on fleet technology innovationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field10+ years of fleet management experience, preferably in FMCGExperience managing large fleets and external service providersUAE logistics experience is a strong advantageKey CompetenciesStrong operational efficiency and logistics planning skillsBudget management and cost control expertiseProven leadership and people management abilitiesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsData-driven approach with KPI analysisIn-depth knowledge of RTA regulations and transportation lawsStrong communication and cross-functional coordination skillsJob DetailsLocation: Ajman, Fujairah & Sharjah, UAEEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience Level: Senior / ManagerialIndustry: FMCG / Food Manufacturing / LogisticsReporting To: Managing DirectorCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive tax-free salaryAnnual performance bonusHealth insuranceAnnual flight ticketsOther benefits per UAE labor law
