GBG EV aims to build India’s most trusted EV investment ecosystem while supporting businesses in transitioning to cleaner, smarter, and more efficient mobility.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fleet Operations Manager role based in Guwahati. The Fleet Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle deployment, routing, utilization, and coordination with drivers and operational hubs to ensure service reliability and efficiency. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, analyzing operational data, and implementing improvements in fleet management processes, safety, and cost control. The Fleet Operations Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with company standards, manage incident resolution, and maintain accurate records of vehicle status, maintenance, and documentation. The position also includes supervising on-ground staff, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting the scaling of fleet operations in alignment with business goals.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills to oversee deployment, utilization, and performance of electric vehicles.Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Supervisory Skills to manage day-to-day activities, lead on-site teams, and maintain service standards.Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.Experience in logistics, transportation, or last-mile delivery operations is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, with flexibility to handle operational demands and occasional extended hours.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in basic computer and reporting tools.A diploma or degree in operations, logistics, business management, or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of EV fleets, GPS-based tracking systems, and safety compliance practices is an advantage.
