About XpressXpress is a Philippines-based mobility and technology company operating ride-hailing, EV and hybrid taxis, motorcycle taxis, concierge services, and corporate transport across Metro Manila and key regional cities.As our owned fleet grows, we need stronger operational discipline around vehicle utilization, driver productivity, maintenance, charging, cost and day-to-day deployment.We are looking for someone who can combine on-the-ground fleet experience with data, systems and commercial thinking to help us operate our fleet more effectively as we scale.About the RoleWe are looking for a Fleet Performance & Operations Manager to work closely with the Operations team and strengthen the performance of Xpress's company-owned fleet.This is a highly hands-on role. You will spend significant time at fleet locations, working with drivers and operational teams, understanding why vehicles are or are not being deployed, and using data to improve productivity.You will help establish better systems around deployment, driver performance, vehicle readiness, maintenance, charging and fleet economics.We don't want someone who manages entirely from spreadsheets. We want someone who uses data to identify a problem and then goes to the ground to understand and fix it.What You Will DoFleet PerformanceMonitor vehicle deployment, utilization, trips, revenue and downtimeIdentify underperforming vehicles and drivers and investigate the reasonsImprove vehicle turnaround and productive hours on the roadHelp ensure fleet capacity is aligned with driver availability and demandTrack operational performance against clear daily and weekly targetsDriver OperationsMonitor driver attendance, scheduling, productivity and operating disciplineWork directly with drivers to understand and improve performanceIdentify recurring attendance, utilization or productivity issuesSupport coaching, performance intervention and operational follow-upHelp improve driver scheduling and deployment processesVehicle Readiness & MaintenanceMonitor vehicle availability, preventive maintenance and repair statusHelp reduce unnecessary downtime caused by maintenance or operational delaysCoordinate with workshops, dealers and suppliers where requiredMaintain visibility over vehicle condition, servicing and repair timelinesIdentify recurring vehicle issues and recommend preventive actionsEV Charging & EnergyHelp optimize charging schedules around operational requirementsMonitor charging time, cost and vehicle readinessIdentify opportunities to reduce charging-related downtimeUse vehicle and charging data to improve operating schedulesFleet EconomicsTrack key metrics including utilization, trips per vehicle, revenue per vehicle, cost/km, charging cost, maintenance cost and downtimeIdentify where fleet profitability is being lostWork with Operations and Finance on cost and productivity improvementsHelp build clearer visibility into the contribution of individual vehicles and driversSystems, Data & AutomationUse GPS, telematics and fleet dashboards to identify operational issuesImprove reporting around deployment, downtime and fleet performanceAutomate repetitive fleet tracking and reporting wherever practicalUse data and AI tools to identify trends and operational opportunitiesWork with Product and Technology on improvements to internal fleet toolsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in fleet operations, transport, mobility or similar operational environmentsExperience working directly with drivers and commercial vehiclesStrong understanding of fleet utilization, deployment and vehicle readinessExperience with preventive maintenance and fleet servicingComfortable working with operational KPIs, dashboards and dataCommercial mindset with strong understanding of productivity and cost controlAble to identify operational problems and follow through until they are solvedComfortable using technology, automation and AI to improve operationsStrong communication and leadership skillsWilling to work on-site and in the field across flexible hoursExperience with EV fleets, taxis, ride-hailing, logistics or other high-utilization commercial fleets is a strong advantage.The Ideal CandidateIs comfortable spending most of their time close to the operationImmediately notices when vehicles should be earning but are sitting idleUses data to identify issues, then verifies them on the groundUnderstands both driver behavior and vehicle operationsThinks about revenue, utilization and cost — not just deploymentFixes recurring problems rather than repeatedly working around themDefaults to systems and automation instead of adding manual processesTakes ownership and follows throughSuccess in This Role Looks LikeHigher vehicle utilization and productive hoursBetter driver attendance and productivityReduced avoidable vehicle downtimeImproved maintenance and charging planningClear visibility of fleet performance and economicsFaster identification of underperforming vehicles and driversMore automated and reliable fleet reportingOperational processes that can scale as the fleet growsReports to: Transport Head
