- Workshop Leadership & Operations: Direct daily garage operations, set shop-floor priorities, and supervise the workshop foreman and mechanical staff. Enforce job card discipline, track turnaround times, and maintain fleet uptime targets. Coordinate daily with the Fleet Supervisor on vehicle intake, maintenance windows, and release schedules. Oversee workshop tool maintenance, bay organization, safety protocols, and proper disposal of hazardous fluids/scrap.
- Hands-On Technical Execution & Diagnostics: Personally carry out advanced diagnostics (OBD scan tools, live data analysis, wiring faults, engine/transmission mechanical failure). Lead complex overhaul, timing, and teardown work directly on the shop floor when the team requires senior technical expertise. Conduct rigorous road tests and final quality sign-offs on all major repairs before returning vehicles to active service. Implement standardized preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) checklists to prevent roadside breakdowns.

Inspect failed components to determine root causes (driver abuse vs. normal wear) and report patterns to management. Verify received parts for fitment and build quality prior to installation. Inspect every vehicle scheduled for RTA annual registration renewal to guarantee a first-time pass.
