Flight Control System Engineer(Aerospace)

Job Purpose: Design, develop, and validate aircraft flight control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient flight operations. The role involves system integration, performance analysis, testing, and compliance with aviation standards while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to enhance aircraft stability and control.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop Flight Control and Autopilot systems.Define system architecture, logic, and requirements.Prepare and review technical documents, specifications, and reports.Manage system requirements and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.Support installation, integration, and testing of system equipment.Set up and maintain test laboratories, tools, and infrastructure.Coordinate procurement, calibration, and configuration of system equipment.Plan and conduct bench, ground, and flight testing activities.Perform verification, validation, and qualification of hardware and software.Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful system integration.Support project planning and execution throughout the system development lifecycle.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on time.System design and architecture development.Requirements management and compliance verification.Technical documentation and reporting.Equipment integration and testing support.Qualification and validation activities.Supplier coordination and technical oversight.Configuration management of hardware and software.Team collaboration and project coordination.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.c) in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fieldExperience: Five (5) years of industry experience in the design and implementation of Flight Controls and Autopilot Systems.Skills:Proficiency in systems engineering, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, integration, testing, and verificationFamiliarity with engineering CAD (CATIA) and requirement management tools (Doors, Enovia)Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutionsStandards: Familiarity with aircraft system engineering related standards, including but not limited to, RTCA-DO-160, SAE ARP 4754 and SAE ARP 4761Certification: Familiarity with aircraft certification standards, at least Parts 21 and 23Soft skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook)Work and communicate effectively in a group/team and interdisciplinary environmentHigh adaptability to ever changing working needs based on company needsIf you're passionate about developing talent and driving organizational growth through learning, we'd love to hear from you.📩 Apply now via LinkedIn or submit your CV today.
