The Florist will design and create flower arrangements for events, weddings, corporate functions, and daily orders, ensuring that each arrangement aligns with client requirements and event themes. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and preparing flowers, maintaining floral inventory, arranging bouquets and centerpieces, and decorating event spaces in coordination with the event management team. The role involves direct interaction with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and deliver excellent customer service. The Florist will also assist with setup and teardown at event venues, work closely with catering and décor teams, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Qualifications Strong skills in Flower Arrangements and Floral Design, with the ability to create diverse styles of bouquets and event décor.High level of Creativity Skills, including color coordination, design concepts, and adapting floral designs to different event themes.Customer Service skills to consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide professional, courteous support.Decoration skills for styling event spaces, tables, and venues in alignment with overall event concepts.Basic knowledge of flower care and handling, including storage, conditioning, and longevity of different flower types.Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks such as lifting and transporting arrangements.Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple orders or events.Previous experience as a florist or in event décor is preferred; relevant certifications or training in floral design are an advantage.Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required by events.
